How many other coronaviruses have originated outside China?

Lots.

CDC: Coronavirus - Coronaviruses are common throughout the world. They can infect people and animals. Five different coronaviruses can infect people.

WHO: Corona viruses are circulating in animals and some of these coronaviruses have the capability of transmitting between animals and humans. We call that a spillover event.

Wiki: The most recent common ancestor (MRCA) of all coronaviruses has been placed at around 8000 BCE.[26] The MRCAs of the Alphacoronavirus line has been placed at about 2400 BCE, the Betacoronavirus line at 3300 BCE, the Gammacoronavirus line at 2800 BCE, and the Deltacoronavirus line at about 3000 BCE.

All ever so modern and Chinese, eh?

Of course we can call out the Chinese for their population density, and we might turn our noses up at some of the things they eat, but we cannot blame them for creating the virus, which is what is happening.

The simple fact is that we do not know the vector the virus used to jump to humans. They can spread through:

touch
exchanges of saliva, coughing, or sneezing
sexual contact
contaminated food or water
insects that carry them from one person to another

The two most likely routes for the initial infection are contamination or insect bites but as things stand no positive identification has been made.

WM, if you check Flu pandemics, exclude the Soviet one as it tests out as playing with "Spanish" flu, then most of them are Asian in origin.

If we are able to trace "Spanish" Flu back to China, then all but Swine flu have come from Asia.

It is reasonable to assume that the source of the 1918 pandemic was obscured by obsessive security in a time of war.

Given that some of these pandemics came before we even fully understood viral infections, then we can assume this is something that occurs either naturally or by custom in the interaction with wildlife.

The problem is that, just like WW1, the regime in place at the epicentre doesn't even tell itself the truth internally. Making central action and communication with the rest of the world quite difficult.

I think that I have said enough and given enough historical, factual and empirical evidence for my thoughts on the matter.

But the big picture seems to be that the Chinese deliberately produced this virus for some reason (though no one can say what) and therefore all we can do is keep calm and carry on (blaming them).
