Jan, if you still have the laptop can you not set up [a] microphone(s) to record the noise and then hand the evidence in? W10 has an app - Voice Recorder - that could do the job.

Put the lappy on an outside table and when the dogs start set the recorder going, when they stop pause it then when they start again set it recording. Make sure the lappy is on mains power so that it does not run out.

Recordings are kept in This PC > Documents > Sound recordings.

Give it a go....

The dogs next door have been barking, almost nonstop, since 5.30

By law, they are allowed to bark up until 11.00pm, but I'm sure there is something that can be done, if it's a continuous noise during the day.

Hate to think what it will be like in the summer. We've had to turn the tv up

Might have to have another word with the GNR :(

Jeez Jan...that is absolutely ridiculous!

It's infringing on your life. Having to turn your TV up?

There's got to be something that can be done? xx

I was thinking about inviting her around, just to listen. Not him, because he's just weird

When Judy came up, before they left, she said she hadn't realised just how close they are to our house.

Will have a word with Sonia, in Ourique and she can chat to her husband, who is in the GNR. Maybe he can help.

WM, the police have to hear the noise themselves, taping the noise won't help. That's why they had to come up, in the middle of the night.

Feeling pleased with myself! I've saved my Nectar points all year, and have just used them to order a lovely fresh turkey, a stuffed sirloin of beef, and a selection of ready prepped Christmas veg - roasties, parsnips, cauli cheese, red cabbage, and buttered sprouts - all ready for collection from my local Sainsbury's, on Christmas Eve 8-) :D :D

This year will be less time in the kitchen, and more time with feet up, bucks fizz and choccies! :Hi:

Wow Kaz, that is a great deal.

Just the Yorkshires and gravy to make and you're good to go. Well, you have to make something in order to claim it as yours. ;) :D :D :D
