A 3 bed, double-garage corner plot bungalow in our avenue went on the market in February for £395,000. About £30k overpriced in most of our opinions; needless to say it didn't sell.
A different but absolutely identical bungalow went on sale through the same estate agent a month or so back for £350,000 - and had the Sold sign up pretty rapidly!
Interestingly, at the same time, a Sold sign went up on the first bungalow as well. I shall be very interested to see on Zoopla in due course exactly what it did go for …..
Needless to say, we're now getting multiple flyers through the door: "We Have Buyers Ready and Willing for Houses in Your Area"
But it's also interesting to note that if these two bungalows did go through in the £350-£360k range, then house prices in our area are extremely static, or possibly even going backwards ......
