Not Becks, but local good beer - 1 euro, glass of red (gert un, they don't do small in our village :D ) 1.20

Same here Ton. Bottle Mahou, San Miguel or Cruz Campo 1.20.

Huge glass of red 1.20.

We always spend a fortune on drinks when we're in the UK..but what the hell. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Now going to bed, takling a large brandy, to settle the tum after a huge lunch - not used to food at lunchtime, Gladys neither - a bit windy :oops: :roll:

That's steep; even by London standards I think... at a minimum you'd get a large glass of wine to go with the beer for that price

I know it's ben 3 years since I was last in England, but even then we were gobsmacked at the price - in Windsor and In Chipping Sodbury.

A caneca (very large beer, basically a pint) is still 1.50- As it has been for the last 7 years.
