Saundra, that, sadly, is a distinct possibility.

I am assuming you mean that it would be Moslems taking revenge, but revenge against whom? Revenge against innocent New Zealanders, the people who welcomed them to their country and allowed them to freely follow their culture and religion.

Jacinda Ardern has said there will be changes to NZ's gun laws - already stricter than USA / Canada / Oz, but not as strict as the UK. However, there are an estimated 1.5 million 'registered' firearms in a population of about 5 million ~one for every three people. Nobody knows the total number of registered and unregistered firearms nor where they all are.

The prospect of tit-for-tat "revenges" is enormous.

It will come as no surprise to anyone that the murderer was a supporter of Trump. Trump just about mouthed the usual meaningless platitudes but refused to entertain the idea of white supremacists. Now if the perpetrators had been Muslim and the victims white, he would still be ranting  As for that Australian senator Fraser Anning.....words fail me. Anyone I know who lives/has lived in/has visited NZ has always absolutely loved it and we have friends in Auckland and Timaru.

Strange that while the NZ attack is mentioned so much that UK media make no mention of the 100+ Christians killed in Nigeria over the past 3 weeks.

However it is carried by AL-Jazeera news
