I can't believe anyone would think 'now they know what it feels like' I honestly can't

I thought your Prime Minister was very dignified Weka I liked what she said about refugees and immigrants having chosen to make N Z their home as one of us

It is so sad to hear about these terrible incidents.

I cannot understand how people can get so distorted in their opinions that they can carry out such barbaric activities.

I certainly think that those responsible, if caught, should face the death penalty. They certainly have no right to live in a civilised society.

From what I understand the ringleader isn’t even a kiwi and it wasn’t going to be here but he changed his mind

“we were not a target because we are a safe harbour for those who hate. We were not chosen for this act of violence because we condone racism, because we’re an enclave for extremism, we were chosen for the very fact that we are none of these things, because we represent diversity, kindness, compassion, a home for those that share our values, a refuge for those who need it. And those values, I can assure you, will not and cannot be shaken by this attack” New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Adern.

I have huge respect for your PM Weka, she is a beacon of sincerity in a world that seems full of insincere and useless politicians (((((NZ))))) xxx

The Pm made a very heart rendereing speech.

She seemed to say we will not give in to the terrorists.

Vic, it is true that all leaders speak safely from behind their securitywalls. Unfortunately too many of them use that privilege to promote fear and hate and division.

Jacinda Ardern is a different class. Her speech, as events were unfolding, came from the heart. You could hear from her voice that she was choking back the tears - tears for her people and her country. The world could do with a lot more leaders like her.
