The drains are being done in our village. Big lorries with long hoses on them sorting the blocked drains out and inspecting all of them. This is such a rare event. I think I've seen Haley's comet more often.

One sign standing next to a lorry read "Peter Duffy. Critical Culvert investigations".

Now, Peter Duffy is an OK name, but Critical Culvert? Whose he? It brings to mind the world of a tough, lantern jawed, two fisted Los Angeles Private Eye.
