This has been such a long time coming Debih, enjoy every second 8-) :D :D :D

It's a law of nature I think, that no matter how much cupboard space you have, it will get filled! :D :D :D

Deb I'm so happy for you!! That is absolutely fantastic news!! Definitely just "stuff" things in where your first impulse is, over the course of the next month you will find yourself reaching for a certain cupboard for something, so that's where that should go and then you move it there. Golly, just counted up, I've worked in 9 different kitchens now!

I think ere is some sort of standard organization for a kitchen, as I've found when you are in a friends kitchen looking for something, you usually find it within 2 cupboards/drawers.

How long till James is officially up and running?

I don't know. We still haven't made the definite decision about the fire surround (well, I have but Mick hasn't). The neighbour who is doing the worktops for us will bring his mate with him to look at the stone when he comes (one day this week) so we will have a better idea then.

Then the spalshbacks have to go in (once they are ordered - we are having stainless steel) and then James can come home.

I desperately want him in but not until the fire place is ready for him. I don't want to be having to cover him up whilst work is being done. I am still contemplating what my first meal will be on him - I suppose it very much depends on what day of the week he arrives!
