Morning all. It's blowing a gale here and we had snow overnight. It's settled but not on the road fortunately.

I'm having a lazy mothers day. I'm waiting to see if Mick remembered. I know L got me something as I gave her some money on Friday to go shopping with a friend. But I don't think S has. And at 10 & 12 I think it is up to Mick anyway to remember for them.

Girls are off to a new youth choir set up by Dale Diva this morning. It's a taster session and will run once a month if they decide to join.

So tv, leisurely bath and book reading for me today.

Morning everyone :) Happy Nother's Day to the mums here, and hugs for those missing their own mum today (((((((((x)))))))))

I've already had a lovely card from Harry and a bunch of roses.......Becky is still in bed but does have something for me I think, as she's been dropping hints all week. Nothing yet from my eldest but I expect he'll phone later, he usually does :)

We had a nice family meal out last night with Mick's mum, and his brother and g/f :) I bought most of my steak home for Pepper though, as my appetite is still not back! My MIL loved the picture Mick painted for her :D

A nice quiet day today, enjoy your Sunday everyone xxxxx

Morning everyone

Sun and clouds again here but still warm :D

Should be skyoing with daughter later, apart from that, not doing a lot.

Roast chicken for dinner and the house still smells like an Indian restaurant

Have a good day everyone xx

Good afternoon all.

It's been quiet in here this morning hasn't it.

All having a sleep-over, I expect. Can't say i blame them - it's horrible out there.
Can't say we enjoyed the dog-walk today. It's indoor games this afternoon (No - not what you think)

Cheer up- the worst of the weather is yet to come.

But don't worry, Summer will come later on - no doubt a Madam Butterfly one (one fine day). :P

Be good.

Afternoon :)
Can't believe I haven't been online at all today! Aggers once in a while I think a lie-in would be nice, but I never have them :)
Boys are here, I made sausage and egg mock-mcmuffins for breakfast (youngest had cereal as usual).

Big, exciting news :D Minnie was yipping and staring at me this morning, presuming it was for food I gave her a handful but she just looked at it and back at me then yipped again. So it dawned on me this might just be her 'normal' talk, and asked her if she wanted to go out. Yes :D
She got so excited, and we went all the way do the end of the cul-de-sac that this road's off, it must be at least four times the distance she'd been so far, I even had to tell her not to pull :D Nearly 15 minutes it was :)
And it's her birthday today, she's seven - for a few weeks we really didn't think she'd make it to 7 :D

The boys gave me a lovely card with a lovely message written inside, plus a potful of tete á tetes, some little scented flower candles, and a very pretty scarf that just happened to go with what I'm wearing today :)
Bb offered to take them back early as it's Mothers day but she said she was working anyway so not to bother.
Roast pork for us later, but am going to do it Chinesey, with stir-fry veg ;)

Cromwell I'm not surprised you can't wait, it's positively arctic here today and going to get even colder - minus 3 at least tonight.
Hope everyone's enjoying their day
Di
