I enjoyed Lightfields (and Marchlands).

We are reserving judgement on Mayday - we couldn't make our mind up about it.

We will be playing catch up on the rest of the series as I am out most nights this week (my social life is rather like buses............)

Didn't like it! Cliched, stereotyped, predictable, sulky teenagers, don't go into the woods today, dodgy men, naggy women, village greens, secrets, lies and all they need now is a cellar. Shame because good actors in it. Hope Broadchurch is better than this!

I wanted to give it a try, but thanks to some 'clever-clogs' at the BBC who decided it should go out five nights on the trot I will give it a body swerve.

Well, I did an iPlayer catch-up today for ten minutes and gave up as it all seemed so silly and I really didn't care. Swerved

Mayday: We took a decision not to watch it as we also don't like the 5 day schedule. It clashed withb Broadchurch last night which we did want to see, and we're both out of the house tonight anyway, so Mayday was a non-starter.

In the end I really enjoyed it.

BUT what a ridiculously stupid ending to an otherwise brilliant drama.

I set Mayday to tape but halfway through the first episode I lost the will to live and deleted it and the second episode. I couldn't care about any of the characters. Who dunnit by the way?

It could have been one of about 5 men but it was the policeman (the man who was married to the coloured woman). Except in the last episode it got all weird. The young lad thought it was his dad and told the policemans wife that (she was an ex police officer). She had some sort of grudge against his dad and when she realised it was her husband she set the boys dad up and he was arrested.

Throughout the last three episodes the dead girls twin kept finding little pebbles (they fell from the sky) that she said was a sign from her sister. She told the boy that her sister was coming back and that she was going. Then the evidence that the policemans wife had planted turned into a pebble whilst in police custody!

Then the live twin was possessed by the dead twin, dressed like her and dyed her hair blonde, got on the bike and cycled off to the field where the policeman who killed her was having a picnic and stood pointing at him before riding away smiling.

And then it finished!

Complete waste of 5 hours of my life!

I hate these dramas that leave you thinking 'what the hell was all that about"

Its almost like they are too lazy to think of an ending so leave you to think of your own
