What are we reading in January?

I'm reading Antony Sher's Year of the Fat Knight.

It's brilliant!

Yes it is The History Man Gal..and one of my absolute favourite actors.

He wrote a book 20 odd years ago entitled Year of the King: it's in diary form from the idea of him being mooted to play Richard the Third right through to opening night. Despite me reading it at least 10 times now it still fills me with excitement!

Year of the Fat Knight is about him preparing to play Falstaff and I'm loving it.

I've got Sher's autobiography that was published in 2001.

Don and I went to see him at the Barbican in 1990 when he played Singer....he was outstanding.

I've read a book!
Not perfect, by Elizabeth Laban. it was a freebie for January on amazon prime.
Very light but quite good.
