Same here Osc; I'm so excited about the meet. I've booked the two days off work and need to arrange the cat sitter, get the train ticket and then I'm all set as well. Just need to find out where the meet will be so I can book a room to sleep :)

yay! :D :D :D

I just want to check that the date is definitely 25th June as I'm going to book it off work next week.

At the moment I am planning on getting the train there and back on the same day but I might see if I can work something out with my mum and mum in law so that the girls can stay over with them for the night so - is anyone staying over and if so, where?

I would prefer to stay over if possible and am planning on doing so.... but wouldn't know where to book until the actual meet venue has been decided. I don't know the area at all so cannot even make any suggestions

Smashing :D :D

I think we need to decide on a definite venue - the place Ally was taking about sounded good, if all agree - and then we need a nearby reasonably priced hotel 8-) Whether I stay or not depends on if Mick is coming - if he does then we'll maybe drive and come home that night, but if it's just me I might well stay over and make a little mini-break of it. Mick won't want to use up more than one day's leave......

There's a place called The Old Joint Stock which was a possible, and another called The Lost & Found which is on Bennett's Hill, both are a few minutes walk from New St and near St Philip's Cathedral (The Old Joint Stock faces it).
