The mark of Zorro

Postby Lozzles » 02 Mar 2013, 17:06

On our landing we have a sort of daybed under the window. I was replacing the loose cover just now and smoothing out the fabric with my hand when my finger caught on a pin  :? which was sticking up out of the mattress. I have no idea how it got there, but because I was moving my hand quickly as I was smoothing out the fabric, the pin ripped its way down my finger and across my palm...there was real red blood and everything! So now I have the mark of Zorro on my hand  8-)

Nasty and a bit of a shock, do hope it heals quickly, :(
Gus jumped out of bed around 2.a.m. last week as the pup was howling, she went into the landing, struck her foot on something (dont know what) and it sliced through the back of her little toe, when I saw it the next day it was horrible and really needed a couple of stitches, she said the landing looked like a blood bath, she was so shocked she could not even yell !! however thankfully she has healed. Hope your injury doesn't cause you any problems.. Difficult area on the palm as you have to use your hand for everything...

Poor Gus, glad she is on the mend.
I'm fine, it's only a scratch really, but it looks impressive
