Insurance

The insurance for the buildings and contents is due on 6th June.
Have had renewal terms for existing insure and the premium has gone up.
So went on line and got a new quote which was cheaper than last year premium for the same cover. This includes the increased Insurance tax.
So I have phoned them and renewed at the much lower premium saving £100.00 on the renewal terms sent at the beginning of May. Have made sure the existing policy will not be renewed in June.
Also my car break down cover is due for renewal. So got a new quote on line from the same company which was cheaper than last years renewal.
On the phone again and I have renewed at the lower price quoted on line.
In each case I have the name of the person I spoke to at the two companies.
So I have saved nearly £120 just by making two phone calls and getting new quotes online.
