Known over here as maquinas a vapor.

I really had to work hard, mopping the tiles here, yesterday. They're not the normal floor tiles and take a lot of work. The bathroom ones are fine, but the rest of the house

We really don't want to spend a lot of money - Grumpy is always moaning about how many mops I get through

I know a couple of you have them - any ideas??

I got my Karcher from Worten about 18 months ago and it is an absolute doddle to keep the floors clean.

We have really thick granite tiles upstairs that I felt a mop never got really clean. I wouldn't be without my Karcher.

We have two steam cleaners. One mrs.e uses to clean the floor in the kitchen. Have had it several years. Still seems to do a good job.
We have recently bought another one. This has a separate tank and a long hose with different attachments.
Use it to clean the shower and toilet. Keeps the grout very clean and the tiles sparkle. Saw it on one of the shopping channels on the TV.
Have had a Karcher high pressure washer.Us it to clean the flags at the front and back of the house. It is still giving good service. It is about 15 years old and used about four times a year.

We're debating between a cordless and one with a cord. As we run mostly on solar, I don't want to have to think about having to erm, can I have the kettle on as well as the steaming thingy.

No point asking the Portuguese here, they mop.

No point asking the English either - they're too bluddy rich and have cleaners - who mop
