Oh yes Gal, such a relief when they're well enough to misbehave!
Glad to hear it :)

Not sure how I missed this... sorry to read Smudge hasn't been well. How is he doing today; did the vet say what he thought the problem was?

Thanks everyone - he seems much better now, I fed him three small meals of fresh chicken yesterday as advised and he was fine (after starving him on Wednesday), today he has had a normal pouch and has polished it all off  (gave him it in two stages).

Vet thought he might have picked something up outside that he shouldn't have - VERY likely!!! Because he had a bit of blood in his motion, she gave a steroid jab as well as an AB, and to make sure his worming is up to date. Hopefully he is ok now - I'll not dare let him out again!! :|

I'm glad he's doing better; they are a worry, aren't they.... :(. I cannot remember what your set-up at home is, but could you possibly cat proof your back garden so Smudge cannot get beyond the garden? Then you'd have more control about what he comes into contact with?

He doesn't stray far anyway atm Meri, just our garden and my NDN's although he has ventured round to the front of the house which is in a cul de sac.

He's quite a home boy - I do understand that for some people cat proofing is a plan, but not for me :)
