Good morning Wednesday

Good morning.

Forecast gorgeous again so we're going to park the car at la Playa and walk right along the promenade to Benalmadena port. :D

We'll have a spot of lunch on the way back. 8-)

I have some presents to wrap when I get home.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally and all!

Going into town this morning, a walk when I get back and jobs to do around the house. Tom's at work today, 10-7.30pm. We need to go to Decathlon and Ikea tonight.
There's some washing to dry but two weather apps I have are showing different forecasts - one says rain this morning while the other says it'll rain this afternoon so I don't know which to believe!

Have a good day all!

Morning Ally, Jo and everyone

Another frosty start here  but the sun soon burns it off and it'll be another quite warm day 8-)

We're off to Castro Verde this morning. They have a Christmas market there, so we'll have a mooch around and also need to visit the bank, to sort something out.

Then back to the ironing

Out for dinner tonight :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

So nice to be back home, we always divert to drive round the harbour when we've been away, it never ceases to make me smile :D

Up early as I've a hairdresser appointment, the usual colour cut and blow dry. Not sure it needs cutting though, it's only 5 weeks since I had it done and she gave it a good going over then.

Got a couple of our neighbours coming round for drinks later this evening. Not sure what to do about the picky bits, what do you usually do? Being very lazy, my preferred choice would be ready done packs I could open and throw straight on the table, but all I've seen are party bites and they all need cooking. Much too late to order anything :?

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning all :)

Aside from my phototherapy this morning and the big Tesco shop tonight I've no plans, so will just see how the day goes :)

Jen at this late stage I'd hit M&S for mini quiches, crudites and dips etc? :?

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all

Enjoy the walk and the lunch Ally
Ton, have fun at the Christmas market. A colleague and I had a mooch around the one on the Southbank here in London yesterday; what a disappointment. About 10 booths selling bits and bobs and then mainly just a street food market. Absolutely nothing Christmassy about any of it really.
Jo, good luck with all your shopping, hope you get it done and hope Ikea isn't too busy
Jen, I agree with the others - some crudites and dips, crisps and maybe some nuts? And then some ready made party foods that go in the oven. They all usually need the same temperature and not very long so if you're oven is hot and ready to go when the guests arrive then it's fairly easy. And then cheese and biscuits
Saundra, happy birthday to your son - lots of December birthdays :) But have to ask; what is a semi buffet...

1/2 day work for me today. Need to get home and repair the netting for the cat proofing so need daylight for that. It would appear that someone (Monty I suspect) forced his way into the garden by pushing his way through the netting which tore it right off - he's done that once before when he's been spooked by something which I think happened again. Thank goodness the three cats that aren't allowed out the garden didn't escape and I noticed in time.

Have a lovely day all xx

Good morning all.

We're having a quiet day today, after our busy three-day holiday. The Christmas Spectacular show at Thursford was absolutely marvellous.
There's no other show like it. I can thoroughly recommend it. But you will need to book up soon for next year's show as bookings are being
made now at a very high rate.

Our holiday also included tours of Norwich and Ely, and we were lucky with the weather.

Hope you are all O.K. Have a lovely day.

Evening all, been quite a nice day here, and we are both feeling a bit better. Got the supermarket shop done this morning and I have all the ironing up to date. Mr Osc got a last minute call to play golf so off he went, but they didn't play as the only rain shower of the day happened just as they were heading to the first tee, so they just went for coffee and a chat. All presents wrapped since last night, so I'm pretty organised (famous last words  )
