Went for my run this morning. :D

Came back and made a sausage casserole complete with naughty veg (see fb  ) and an apple pie. :D :D

Deciding to walk into town to post my sister's birthday card I tell Don I wont be long!

Yeah right!

On the way down killer hill I met Herman the German..we had a chat. :D

By the post office I met Alfonso (a neighbour)..we had a chat. :D

By the bank I met Elisabeta..we had a chat. :D

Just past the petrol station I met big Ron (Dutch bloke)..we had a chat. :D

Walking back up killer hill I met Marie Carmen (a neighbour)..we had a chat. :D

I left her gassing away to another friend..she's probably still there now!

Methinks I have that famous Spanish affliction..likestochatitis.

  Why is it, when you utter those words "I won't be long", you end up being twice as long as you planned?!

One day last week I wanted to be back quickly after the gym but needed to run into town to get a loaf first but that was okay, I'd still be home before 10am...
As I walked into the changing rooms one of the cleaners, the mother of a girl Tom's been at school with since nursery, stopped me for a chat. I walked into town and ran into our old neighbour, Joan...a few minutes later I ran into her husband. Then there was another parent from school who I've not seen for ages...after her, my friend Emma...finally I saw my parents! It was gone 11 when I eventually walked through our door!

This reminds me of a song from way-back-when. Anyone else remember it ??

Chatterbox, chatterbox, chatterbox, talking all day long.
Chatterbox, chatterbox, chatterbox, like an endless song.
Your voice resembles the sweetest of birds,
Yet you keep using the wrong little words.

You talk a mile a minute, yet there's nothing in it, it's much too much.
All your conversation is a recitation on life and such.
If I wanted knowledege I could go to college, my chick-a-dee.
Won't you stop talking and say you love me.

Chatterbox, chatterbox, chatterbox, talking all day long.
Chatterbox, chatterbox, chatterbox, like an endless song.
How about saying, 'I love you, I do',
I never knew a chatterbox like you,
Aggers
