Integration, again.

After Trevor Philips' "Active Integration" kite flying a few months ago, we have another member of the political classes "Dame" Louise Casey and her new report on integration in the UK.

Louise is the Government's "Integration Czar", whatever one of those is.

So now she is recommending that our schools should teach integration. How this should actually be achieved is not so clear. Although some of the language used (if the Telegraph is to be believed) is very much that of the typical left-wing social authoritarian. Pupils at faith schools should be forced to mix with other religious groups.

Pupils from different backgrounds should be made to work together.

Dame Louise is considering plans to expand National Citizen Service alongside measures to force faith schools to work with others in their area in order to end segregation by religion or race.

Honestly, what a load of old cobblers. Last week we had a riot at a Sikh temple when a Sikh was to marry a non-Sikh. This week we had an Imam of one brand of Islam murdered by a hard liner. Last month we had a Bradford muslim sentenced to life for the murder if a Glasgow Ahmadi muslim. A white boy in Bradford or Dewsbury who asks a pakistani girl out would still be in danger of physical attack.

None of this would be changed by Dame Louise's plans to shoehorn more social engineering into the already crammed national curriculum.

It's like a man trying to hammer a square peg into a round hole in a board. One hour later he's managed it; the square peg is battered, the round hole is deformed, the hammer is bent, he's covered in sweat but he proudly announces "See! All you need is lots of effort" - just before the board falls apart.

Politicians create problems and then tell schools that it is their duty to solve them.

People with massively different beliefs, cultures and lifestyles can't be integrated. And lets be honest, lots of white people don't want to be integrated with immigrants. Lots of middle class white liberals say they do, but when push comes to shove they are the biggest hypocrites of all.

People like Louise Casey and Trevor Philips are talking rubbish. You can't integrate oil and water. You can get along perfectly fine with anybody; to be polite and respectful to them. But you can't integrate with someone who is 100% different to you.

Lots of middle class white liberals say they do, but when push comes to shove they are the biggest hypocrites of all.

I live this all the time. My Brother the "Radical Left" Labourite calls me a racist. Why? Because I hold the view that it is the colour of the attitude, not the skin, which should be addressed and the radical attitudes of radical religions should be controlled, not the general and tolerant attitudes of the masses.

Most notably HE has no ethnic minorities in his life or friends. Although he is linked by family to the Moslem world just as I am, but I was integrated into the Moslem family at the wedding because I was wanted, he, was not.

I have good friends in the Indian, Pakistani Black and Asian cultures I work with and I live my ethos.

But I'm not integrated you know and I'm a racist because I won't roll over and let bigots dictate to me.

You know you can mix oil and water cromwell. What you wind up with is a suspension of oil droplets in the water, each fanatically repelling the other through their differences in surface tension.

About sums it up.

This kind of, supposed, "well meaning", action will create nothing more than additional tensions; like a banger thrown into a bubbling cauldron of hot acid. Unfortunately only those who live next to the cauldron will be hurt, not the people who think up these idiotic schemes.

And lets be honest, lots of white people don't want to be integrated with immigrants.

My experience is that this is true but that it is massively more prevalent in ethnic communities where cultural, religious, and let us be honest, skin colour, define who they will 'integrate' with.

However, I do agree that nothing and nobody can force peoplle to integrate any more that they can force them to like their neighbours or shop in a particular way. The very best that can happpen is to encourage people to get on with each other. Notice there that I did not use the current buzzword 'respect' and that is because it also cannot be forced; it has to be earned. Very few people actually earn any respect but nowadays ever so many, especially from the ethnic communities, expect it to be handed to them on a plate.

This is another failure by the 'Integration and multi-culti' wonks.
