Dinner tonight

Postby tonicha » 15 Feb 2013, 17:23

is going to be scrummy - I hope

Chicken breasts, stuffed with Alentejana smoked goats cheese and garlic, wrapped in Alentejana smoked presunto, with Hasslebak and roast tattoes, with steamed brocolli, cauli and green beans and garlic mushrooms, cooked in oil and butter

Gladys won't like the mushrooms, but I don't care

And a bottle of red wine from our local area - sadly not the 3 euros a litre we were charged in that lovely restaurnt, but not too much more

I'm going over to have dinner with Gladys :D  ...but in the real world I'm not sure what I'm doing. Mr Loz is still poorly (but on the mend) so I'll see what he fancies :D

We were going to have a lasagne but as Mick decided to start building the kitchen I didn't get chance to make it. So S went to a friends, L had sausage and chips and Mick has now gone out to fetch a curry.

I am in the process of making the lasagne now and we will have it tomorrow night - I am out all day with my mum (going to see The Full Monty at Sheffield - and apparently they do!) so it will be easy for Mick to just bung it in the oven tomorrow.

Apparently not. I caught a report about it on one of the breakfast channels this morning and the lead actor (someone who used to be in Eastenders/Coronation Street - no idea who as I don't watch either) said that they did do the full monty - and even more so than they did on the film.

I will be taking my binoculars in case we are near the back.

Lol Debih I heard a bit of that too, yes it's going to be quite an eyeful :D

We had not so much a recipe, more a collection of stuff cooked in the oven :) Cut up chicken, coated with chillirissa, oil and lemon, potatoes and garlic in one tray, later in another orange pepper, asparagus and spring onion, plus salad and cherry tomatoes :)
