I've been absent far too long Kaz. RL just got in the way.

Loads of things have happened over the last few months. S has finished school. She's hoping to go to college in September to study animal care and has been allocated a bedroom (too far to travel every day). She'll only be staying there for 3 or 4 nights, depending on the level of the course she gets on.

Nothing much changes with L other than the fact she's almost 14 and has taken over from S on the being an awful teen front.

Mick is busy at work and home - we are mid decorating the hall. The plasterer and joiner have finished and now Micks decorating.

I was made redundant, though didn't need to go until Seotember when the office closed. But after a chance email to an ex colleague/friend I'm now back in estate afpgency. Lettings in fact - my task is to build up the lettings side. Longer hours than before (Mon and Thursday - and every other Saturday - 9 til 4 and Tuesday and Wednesday 9 til 5.30. But double the money. Still got a Friday off though. Mille goes to my mums each morning when I'm at work.

Lots of changes for you there Debih, must get a bit frazzling sometimes (((x)))

When Becky did her Animal Management B-Tech up at Hartpury some of the girls on the course lived in. As they were all under 18 they took very good care of them, I'm sure it will be the same with S. L will grow out of it, they nearly always do  ;)

The new job sounds good, I can imagine you doing really well at it!! More pay sounds good too, and great your mum can have Millie :) 8-)

So lovely to see you Jo and Debih, I've missed you both :D
Loads indeed Debih, but sounds as though things overall may be a bit more settled?
Nice for your mum to have Millie for company x

Things are much more settled Di. Still the odd blip but generally just normal teenage stuff.

Interestingly S split up with the boyfriend a couple of weeks ago and she's been a completely different girl. Chatty, gets on well with Mick again - none of the sullenness and drama!

That is exactly how Tom has been since he and Meg split up!
And 'sullenness and drama' sums up what he was like when he was with her.

Sounds to me like the 2 ex's need to get together.

It's end of term here. My two are just exhausted. I don't think I've seen them this tired before. Unfortunately we are babysitting one of our friends kids tonight so no doubt Sasha a B will stay up for hours chatting. Meaning Sunday will be a disaster behaviour-wise and we are off to my dads for his birthday. Oh dear.
