Pretty horrid here, very dark, cold and raining.
I got a couple more trays of plants in Tesco yesterday so they'll be nicely watered in.
We've missed a lot of this week's rain but then other times we're swamped when everyone else is saying how lovely it is - don't you just love our country
Summer hasn't even started yet Saundra, don't give up too soon

Suff are they staying at a hotel? - an email there could get a message to them if there are phone problems.
Kaz I've forgotten when B is going (is it next week?) and how long for - brain like a seive
Osc bet sometimes you're only to pleased you can give them back, no child's perfect all the time but you're meant to get the best bits
Ooh Ton the tiles are going to make it look much more like a real pool

My mum still sends postcards Saundra...from Spain when she's here and wherever she goes on holiday.

I'm expecting one any day from the Lake District as they went last Saturday for 2 weeks.

Aww that's reminded me of the lovely MavisP from the Dm. She was about the same age as my mum would have been and sort of adopted me
Whenever I went out almost anywhere I'd buy a postcard and send, she loved getting them
The she decided to sort her own postcard collection - ones she'd bought but not sent, it's how lots of us used to have photos of where we went.
And every time I mentioned Bournemouth or somewhere she'd been that I knew, she'd send me a postcard of there

I did get one of my s I l last year from the I o w
But that's all
At one time when you went on holiday you spent all your time sending cards

Hope your mum dad enjoy there holiday

I send postcards every now and then to the grandchildren

I only ever send two postcards now, when we go away - one to D and one to Aunty R when we go to Corfu, but invariably I have either seen or spoken to them by the time the cards arrive

Di she goes the week after next, on the 30th! It's for 6 months, well the day before Christmas Eve actually

The sun came out here! I risked a line full of washing before I went out, and it's bone dry now

I wasn't too far off then Kaz, knew it was a few months rather than weeks - ooh she should be bringing back some lovely pressies then

Yes she'll be home for Christmas Saundra, landing back 23rd/24th and we'll pick her up from Gatwick Harry had a great time, thanks Just popped a couple of pics on the photo board

Di, I've asked for a real life Teddy bear but don't think I'll get one!
