Shopping as in for anything casual, non-essential, purely for pleasure, I-want-that? - yes :D
I've done it because I've had to in the past, for much longer than 7 weeks, so no problem ;)

Lent is not really something that I am all that familiar with. When does it end? Easter?
But if I had to pick something, it should probably be the Internet. I really don't have the time at the moment for it.

Yes Weka - it ends at Easter.

I will be giving up sky diving and astronaut training.

Deb do you think you can handle that?

I briefly considered cleaning and tidying the house. Wonder how long before they noticed

I think I might just cope Weka.

I think giving up housework is a fantastic idea.

No I'm not giving anything up....I could give up shopping, have had to a bit anyway (low funds) but if I feel low a bit of chocolate or a nice glass of wine does wonders for me 8-)

I'm an atheist too so I won't be giving anything up for Lent, but I have agreed with my son and daughter-in-law to give up booze for the month of March. I don't know why it has to be March, but I thought it would be interesting to see if it has any effect on my weight and it won't do my general health any harm either.
