Afternoon all, another lovely day here although there is a nip in the breeze if you are in the wrong spot. Michael is on midterm break, so I dropped himself and Mr Osc off to play pitch and putt earlier, then collected them and left them at a local cafe for hot choccie and a muffin, then they will walk home. Great fun putting Kellie in and out .... and in and out... of the car seat! She has has her lunch and is now having her nap. Later on, I have to collect a prescription from our GP which was faxed to her from yesterday's doctor, then I have to phone that doctor to ask him for a letter for the insurance. Everything that can be cancelled has been, but hopefully the insurance will cough up for the rather large amount of the airfares as we only got refunded taxes. Thankfully American hotels fully refund the deposits. We had tickets booked for a show which are non refundable so we have to take the hit on those, as I suspect the insurance won't cover them.

Not upset at all, but my head is a bit all over the place with so much going on :? Have a good day everyone :)

Ah well then Ria, I suppose if she's happy with it :? It wouldn't do for me, or you, but we all have different standards I suppose ;)

Osc I'm glad you will get almost all of your money back, it must take some of the 'sting' out of not being able to go xxxx

I did most of what needed doing, apart from the ironing ( :P ) and then walked up to see D, and helped her pot up her new plants. The sun came out as I walked up there, and it has gone from a grey and chilly day to glorious blazing sunshine 8-) ;) I'm pleased for A's sake, she texted me earlier to say the sun was coming out in Bristol too :)

Afternoon all, Osc replied to your disappointment thread. Said it all there I guess.

Hope everyone has a good what is left of the day. I've escaped the snake pit for a bit and will fly tonight and work from home tomorrow.
