Fernando was using a huge drill, to get rid of all the concrete and also to make holes in the walls, for Sergio to put in new wiring tomorrow.

So what with him and the pool guys using various drills, I went down to the battery house, with a book

By 2.00, we'0d both had enough, so went down to the bar for a couple of hours - and bought a huuuuuge pot of honey (from the next farm) for 5 euros - so hopefully, that will sort out the ongoing hayfever

The worst bit is over, tomorrow is putting in the new wiring and making good the walls.

Having just bought it from Dimas, Jose comes out and said mel ( honey) is not good, I should have nectar, which the local supermarket sells.

Then he and his wife tried to sell me yet more fresh cheese, as honey and fresh cheese is gert lush (not that they said that ) as long as you're not diabetic

Odette will be keeping some fresh cheese for me tomorrow, from the local cheese lady and I'll try that for brekkie on Sunday

Honey for Hay Fever? Is that right?

It eases the itchiness of the eyes Aggers, and the itchy nose.

has to be local though - ours came from less than a mile away.

Aggers it works as the local bees will eat local pollen, and pollen sensitivity causes the hay fever. Honey contains traces of pollen, however, this is the heavy-grained type of pollen which doesn't trigger allergies. This desensitizes the body to local pollen
