Afternoon, cold and dreary here. Kellie is asleep downstairs, we brought her along while doing the supermarket shop this morning and she enjoyed that. Mr Osc will collect Michael from school, then later I will drive them to meet up with Miss Osc and her pal, who are bringing them to the circus. This evening I need to make a list - 10 days to our hols but those 10 days include the children overnight Saturday night, three doctor visits and usual childminding next Thursday so not many completely free days, therefore a list is required (and I do love a list  ) Enjoy the rest of your day everyone :)

Definitely a List job Osc :D
Jen how lovely :)
Meriad I well remember that neighbour ;) :D
Hope it's all gone ok and the traffic's not too horrendous Kaz x

Bb was finished earlier than expected and wanted to (finally!) go and get a new phone. Tesco have their clubcard boost so it was worth going there, so I went too.
Really glad I did, a load of bedding and basket plants outside, only £2 a tray, and then I spotted the 25% off sign :Hi:
What they had decided my colour scheme for this year's pots and it's rather a nice one. White geraniums and petunias, purple petunias and mixed trailing lobelia :)
I stopped buying petunias a few years ago after a run of soggy summers, they're horrible after rain, but am giving them another chance - well, it was a bit Hobson's choice :D
Still need a garden centre trip as one of the nice big pots has broken, and will no doubt need more compost...

It all went very well thank you :) The weather was roasting hot, the roads nice and clear apart from the road between Ashford (where the church service and burials were) and Sunbury (where the wake was) which was very busy!

There was a huge turn out, the church was packed, the flowers were incredible and we gave her a terrific send off. The hearse was a white horse drawn carriage with white horses, I have never seen anything so beautiful!

It's been such a long day though, we are both pooped! xxxx

Weren't they? Glad it went off well Kaz - hope you have managed to rest a little now xxx

I'm fuming as I'm still having problems with my phone since this fraud scam!! Been back to the EE shop twice in 2 days, still no further forward as yet!!    I can use it for apps and when I have wifi (so whatsapp and the like are ok, with wifi) but not to call or text normally  :( :( The manager in the shop is lovely and is most concerned about what I have had to sort out but there is only so much he can do - essentially EE have disconnected me....GRRRR!!! So he gave me a new sim card this morning which he said would take between 1 and 24 hours to reactivate....still nothing three hours later :( Not a happy bunny!!

But at least the sun is trying to put in an appearance after three days of grey skies and freezing temps....I have washing on the line and a long weekend is heading this way :)

The forecast for the weekend isn't at all bad Gal, hope you will get some sunshine :)

I've been very busy today - we needed shopping and I had to get H's room ready for Chris tomorrow - so I am pooped now, and upstairs in my DG doing my nails and getting ready for an early night! LOL

The EE stuff is beyond annoying, I hope it resolves very soon!!! :x :( xxxx

Thanks Kaz - we went back in yesterday and the manager (who has been great, all things considered) changed my sim (same number) but still, over 24 hours on I have no service!!

I can make calls via FaceTime if I am connected to wifi (the recipient needs to have an iphone of course) and I can also use whatsapp for texts and calls providing I am connected...but it kind of defeats the object of always being available as I'm not always connected to the internet! Actually I have just been on to my online account and I see it says Account Closed :o Bloody cheek - obviously this is all to do with the fraud thing.....I may have to change my provder AND my number if I want to get back mobile again.

I should go back again, but quite frankly I CNA today! Perhaps tomorrow.....
