Morning all

Bright and sunny but it looks very windy at the moment. It turned really cold yesterday evening, almost winter like

We had planned a day at different beaches with Vivian yesterday, but changed our minds because of the wind. Just as well as she was really cold. In the end we took her to the Manston Spitfire Museum and she really enjoyed that so a good choice. My brother's arriving with his 3yr old today and will take her back with him later this afternoon. He wants to spend the day at the beach and take a look round the harbour with Ernie so keeping fingers crossed the weather behaves and we don't get the rain the forecast promises!!

After a slow start the sun is finally out here and the sky is losing its grey sullen look. I hope everyone has at least a dry day. Also hope Kaz has good weather down in Devon.

Good afternoon all.

We're back after our five-day holiday in Liverpool. We had a really lovely time.
It was my first visit there, and I was amazed at what an amazing place it is.
We stayed at a hotel that used to be the headquarters of the White Star shipping line,
the owners of the ill-fated Titanic. It has been converted into a super hotel in a style
resembling the inside of the doomed ship. Most impressive, although the service could
have been better.

But it's nice to be back home.

Afternoon all, glorious day here. Been on the go since quite early, bits and pieces and then trying to finish a book. Also we have builders here doing a job on part of our roof, just as well it is a nice day as the hatch to the terrace has been open since morning. Off to collect my brother from the airport later, he has been in Malta. On the way there I will get some balloons for my sister's 60th birthday celebrations tomorrow, I already collected her cake this morning. Back in time for the Eurovision which will be a bit of fun. Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday
