Good morning. :D

Gloriously gorgeous here. 8-) 8-)

Picking mum and dad up and bringing them over here for the day. :D :D

Mum's requested chicken salad and dad's requested eating al fresco and that's all fine by me. :D :D :D

Meeting up with a couple of friends tonight for a beer or two. ;) :D

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Enjoy the day with the parents Ally; chicken salad al fresco certainly would go down a treat here; alas it would end up a rather soggy salad because of the rain ;)

I've got a so so busy day; everything rather interspersed which is a bit annoying. Vet appointment at 10h30; nails at 13h00 and then picking up friends at the airport at 16h40. I think I'll head to a garden centre half way between the nail place and the airport for that hour or so in betweenas I still need to find a birthday present for Nadine. She and Karl had their birthdays whilst on holiday in SA and they come back Wednesday and I'm really struggling for ideas. Admittedly I did find the perfect gift whilst in Brighton, but I love it so much myself so I've decided to keep it    so now I need to come up with plan B

Tonight I'm going to watch TV whilst sorting papers I think

have a lovely day all

Not doing a lot today, Saturday kitchen this morning, then Rick Stein and inbetween I'll do the prep for tonights chicken curry and then we'll head down to the bar, to collect rolls and veg. Also Grumpy is to look at some furniture for a friend, to see if he can fix it.

Morning all :D

Overcast and drizzly here, so pleased we went for a walk yesterday and didn't put it off until today.

Usual washing and stuff like that today. We also have to start clearing our the little lean to off the kitchen and the conservatory as our builder is due to start on Tuesday and his first job is to dismantle both. The next 2/3 months promise to be challenging

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all.

It's been a glorious sunny morning here.

Been supermarket shopping this morning.
A bit of gardening is on the cards for this afternoon, then we might watch the Grand National.

Hope you all enjoy this taste of Spring weather

Afternoon, lovely sunny day here with some cloud, but the wind is cold. We were at a funeral this morning, a 95-year old woman who was the last of my mother's friends left. Her daughter is a great friend of my sister since school days, and the funeral was a lovely celebration of a long life well lived. She was a very glamorous lady, never a hair out of place, but beautiful inside as well. Her son spoke very amusingly about her from the altar, pretended to take a phone call from his dad saying she would be with him in about an hour, and yes, she had had her hair done :D

When we came back, I did a bit of shopping, then went for a walk. Thinking about having lunch now, and then I have to tackle the ever growing pile of ironing  Roast pork for dinner, and golf from the USA Masters all evening. Have a good day everyone :)
