Good morning.

Another lovely day forecast. 8-) 8-)

2 days till mum and dad are here! :D :D :D :D :D :D

A walk for me this morning then back to make chocolate chip muffins. :D

I'm meeting up with my work colleagues at 9pm tonight and we're going for drinks and dinner...boss lady's niece is over here for a couple of months (Beth goes to America in June) and it's her 23rd birthday today hence the cakes, drinks and dinner. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning ally sounds like a good plan
Neighbour is coming round to sort my back garden out later
He cut all the huge dead clametis down last week
What a job filled the wheelie bin which is due to be emptied today
So will fill it again and tidy the gravel
It's rained overnight but it's dry now
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here, fingers crossed it stays nice so the boys can have a good run on the beach. Always a good idea to wear them out  As usual we were woken up on the dot of 7am, we'll need to spend the weekend in recovery mode

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

Another gorgeous morning,wa smisty in the valler
y earlier, but all gone now.

Watering done, breakfast soon, then into Ourique. Need to make a standpipe, down by the veggie garden, so a visit to Nelson for everything. Then shopping, then back to more weeding   Almost finished the gravel :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: Will probably have to start again next week

Out to dinner tonight - trying the Boa Viagem, which has just re-opened with a new chef and apparently, it's very good and reasonably priced.

Have a good day everyone, Jen enjoy the boys visit :D :D

Morning all :)

Ally, that's getting very close!! :Hi: :Hi:

Great that you have someone to help in your garden Saundra, my MIL has help these days too with the harder jobs, just leaving her the pottering ;)

Morning Jen, hope the boys have a great day on the beach :D

Have a nice dinner out Ton :)

Well we are shattered here - Mick had a job scheduled to do at 10pm for the States, but it lasted until after 2am due to problems and I couldn't get to sleep until after he came to bed :( Not sure if I'm doing much today, although there is zumba again tonight

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning you lot

Have fun this evening Ally. I do love that you're only meeting up at 9pm - that's usually coming up for bedtime for me

Saundra, that's nice of your neighbour to come help you; having a nice tidy garden to sit in an enjoy makes such a difference doesn't it. For me the big thing is always when the lawn has been mowed - it just changes everything and gives such a sense of satisfaction

Jen, if today is anything like yesterday you'll be fine if you head out before lunch - yesterday afternoon was torrential rain and hail here in London

Ton, you wouldn't know what to do with yourself if your gravel weed friends didn't come back ;) unfortunately it will take a few weeding sessions for them to learn that they're not really wanted there. But another thing to look at buying is a dutch hoe (if you google images you'll see what I mean). Once you've got the really big weeds out the way, then it's really easy to control new young shoots with the hoe and you get quite a large area done fairly quickly. You may need to have the front of the blade sharpened a bit more than usual if you're working through lots of gravel, but small price to pay....

Kaz, an afternoon nap in order I think....

Usual work day for me; out for lunch with a friend and then usual evening home :)

have a lovely day all

Good morning all.

It's lovely here now, and I've just had my morning walk to the local shop.
I'm having a quiet time today (I hope).

Have a nice day everyone.

Saundra he gets a great call-out rate (per hour) but I'd rather he (and me) got the sleep. His work is stressful and I worry about him  :?

Morning Ria, have a nice lunch out :)

Morning Aggers :)
