And the mist lifted, the sun came out and so did the wind - blowing a hooley - if the clothes stay on the washing line, I'll be surprised
We've been to Castro Verde for the market and bought all sorts of scrummy things and also some gardening stuff for Grumpy. Proper Portuguese hoe and fork - much easier for breaking up the ground, ready for planting our veggies.

Going out this afternoon, to see a man about a sofa - these cane things are a pain in the back - and when you've got an achey back

Well there was a change of plan, D was still incommunicado, my guess is she was either visiting her new Age UK client or else out shopping, so instead (to get in my daily steps) I decided to walk up to Morrison's to see if it took a lot more paces than Sainsbury's - I;ve never been up there on foot before. Actually, there isn't much in it although Morrison's is slightly further Then I popped into The Range which is on the way home and bought some new chunky pot pourri for my green glass bowl, the old stuff was getting faded. I also bought a lovely furry choc brown throw for our bed, the old burgundy one is unravelling round the edges. So a good trip out

I bought Mick and B a pizza for dinner and some nice salad leaves to share - I'll have something light when I get home from zumba, and a banana about an hour before I go
