Evening all, we were out early today as we were going to a funeral - our dancing teacher friend's mother. She was a lovely lady, great fun, but has been ill on and off for about four years so it is a happy release. We went to the church but not to the burial which was some distance away. We went with some friends to the pub and had our main meal so we wouldn't have to cook and we stayed there so long that the funeral party was driving in as we were driving out! There was a very large turnout in the church of N's dancers, he is such a lovely person, we all think the world of him. It was a bitterly cold day but dry and sunny.

Did the supermarket shop on the way home and it was nice not to have to cook.

Good morning Wednesday

Postby Weka » 21 Jan 2016, 09:43

Morning everyone

Work at FIL's today. I've finally figured out how to motivate my son to tidy. Put everything the floor in a rubbish bag. I've never seen him move so fast.

A friends little girl is having her first sleep over here tonight. She has a restricted diet, and our diet is cute compatible, so we are taking advantage of it.
Hubby health problems have led to this diet, and I don't mind admitting I'm struggling a bit with what to feed us for dinner, but my friend has been wonderful with helping me.
Everything happens for a reason
