LOL this thread has just made the chuckle.... according to the forecast we were to have some last night; well nada, zilch, none, nichts.... woke up this morning to a dusting of it covering the roofs and grass but that's about it...

Shall we take a bet now that South West Trains will have issues tomorrow morning due to 'severe' weather having affected services today

It rained yesterday evening, but started snowing about midnight. We got the forecast 1>2 centimeters. It's already thawing, gone from the pavement, but still on the car and house roofs and the grass. :cute:

I put out some bird seed yesterday morning in anticipation, and according to Mrs O, it was all hoovered up by the wrens, house sparrows and resident robin during the afternoon, so I've just put another load out.

It's still feeling very cold out there, but I see from the flurry of feathers that hasn't stopped the pigeons bonking in the oak trees ...... I'm beginning to wonder if the bird seeds I put out don't contain cannabis seed or some other avian "aid to free love" ...
