Nothing special, but I am having a nice day.
Bb wasn't going to be working today, but had to after all - can't say no with yet another eye op coming up.
We're not going out; I'd have had to drive, the weather had been so awful we didn't know how it would be, etc...anyway, I've been to M&S and got us a lovely Dine In meal of duck legs in a port and orange sauce, rosemary potatoes, pudding of raspberry & vanilla panna cotta and a bottle of red
We have veg, so he can cook
We will have a proper celebratory meal hopefully on a beach, in March
He bought me a beautiful watch; mine was a perfectly ok but cheap one, which replaced a nice one that went years ago when I was burgled.
It's lovely, have put a pic on fb, took it with me to town to have the extra links taken out so I could wear it straight away
He also got me that book Kaz so I'll be organising and decluttering like crazy - or at least reading about it
Plus I got some money, and a rather gorgeous magenta fountain pen
