Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 30 Dec 2015, 06:54

Good morning. :)

Another gorgeous day forecast. 8-)

I have the morning at home today! and then the 4 of us are off out for lunch. :)

Jacob's flying back to the UK at 8pm tonight...I've been told by him not to be sad and do what I do when my parents leave. Count the days till we see each other again which is what I've done. 80 of them. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally - a bittersweet day for you today; have a fab time with the boys today and Jacob is right, count down the days - those 80 will fly by and before you know it we'll have a post filled with dancing girls again x I think this short poem is so beautiful and true, esp as you are a good friend to your boys as well and not 'just' their mum

“Don't be dismayed at good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.”

Morning everyone else; a rather blustery night again; Frank is certainly causing havoc  Not sure what I'll be doing today. I was meant to have the kids but Nadine is still not feeling well so won't be going to work. I'm going to call a bowling place close by to see if they have some lanes available so I can book them and go pick up the kids and get them out the house for a bit at least - not nice for them to be cooped up two days running. Very little else one can do with them really in this weather though

Have a lovely day all whatever it is you're up to. Continued vibes for the poorlies and hoping the people further up north continue to stay dry and safe. Enough of all this horrid weather now

x

Morning you two :)

((((Ally)))) Ria's poem is lovely xxxx

Ria that will be nice for the kids, we've taken ours bowling a few times, lots of fun even though I always lose

It is blowing a hoolie here, yesterday was definitely the calm before the storm! It woke me up a few times - Mick put a sack full of sand on top of the recycling box last night but it still blew over! :? Being lazy and staying indoors today for sure, although there is plenty I can find to do!

Have a good day everyone, if you can xxxxx

Dry but very windy here.

Had a nice lunch with the ladies yesterday, the pub's situated on the cliff top so lovely views.

Today we're off to the cinema to see the new Star Wars film, can't tell you how excited I am :D :D :D

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning. We are supposed to be looking at cars today but it is grey, windy and raining atm, so that will have to wait!

Good morning all.

It's very windy here, so we won't be going far today.

My thoughts go out to all those people up north suffering from storm Frank.

Let's hope 2016 will bring better weather.

Morning all, very windy here but dry after voluminous amounts of rain yesterday and last night. Just a few minutes ago we heard a loud thud from the terrace, we investigated to find that our lovely terracotta sun face had blown off the wall  Not too much damage thankfully, the nose is a bit smashed and there are some chips off the edge. For the time being, we will leave it flat on the ground!

Our little party went well last night, two of the other girls were a bit poorly too, so nobody was drnking much. Everyone enjoyed the food and we just had a nice time sitting around chatting, I had lost my voice by the end of the evening! Mind you, by the time we did most of the clearing up and got to bed it was 1am. I was awake for a while during the night, so with the combination of tiredness and my ongoing dose, I have something close to a bad hangover   We will finish the washing up this morning, plenty of leftovers so no cooking needed, and vegetate in our chairs for the rest of the day. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning :)
That Frank's awfully windy round here too :D
There's a lady trapped in her car by a fallen tree in Poole :(

Glad your party went well Osc :)
I'm more than ready for a lazy day too, what with our visitors for two days then the hospital yesterday, but not doing badly really.
I'm cooking a gammon hock in the slow cooker, an invented recipe. Have done Nigella's ham in coke a few times; this has coke, marmalade, Dijon mustard and a clementine :)
You can't really wreck ham/gammon so I'm sure it will be fine :)
