Life really is full of ups and downs....

Today was one of those days that had an extra little bit of fun.

Having a late breakfast with my big boss man.

Having my Wednesday sneaky peak at my O Handsome One Italian.

Meeting Don and having a laugh over his close shave with a fireball.

To having a couple of beers, tapas and a great laugh with him in town early evening.

Then BOOM!!! We get home, just settle down and Judi rings with some sad news.

Con's lifelong best friend passed away on Monday from cancer.

Phil (Con's friend) was absolutely devastated when Con died.

Don was very fond of Phil and spent alot of time with him when he was younger.

We'll be able to go to the funeral as it's on the Monday before we fly back home.

Don is relieved he'll be in the UK and will be able to pay his respects at the funeral.

Just goes to show..we spent alot of time with Phil at Con's funeral just 18 months ago, and now....

And coincidentally on the 18th (the day of the funeral) it will be 14 years to the day that Don's dad passed away.

And even more so..where the funeral is, is where Dan's was, and we would be going there anyway to place some flowers at his grave.
