Moving date

We're signing the final deed on this house on 22 December and on our new house, Monte das Aguinhas, on 23 December.

And I really do not want to move on Christmas Eve, as we don't know what the place will be like, if it has gas bottles etc, so will stay here for a few days.

Can you access the house before the 28th if you wanted to, ie for cleaning, measuring etc? May not be the most comfy Christmas this year for you but hey, small price to pay in the greater scheme of things

Once we've signed and handed over the rest of the money, the house is ours

So we're staying up there (in a hotel ) over night, so we can clear some of their rubbish out and give it a clean.

And maybe light a fire

They just might leave it spotless with a comfy sofa

It's been empty for a while Saundra and they're leaving a single bed and a rather dated display unit - and as the place is so small we need to get rid of the stuff we don't want.

And because we've had a little bother with them, we're checking the gas bottles too, otherwise we won't have any hot wayer
