Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 06 Dec 2015, 07:29

Good morning.

Off for a mountain yomp with David today. :D

It's the Alhaurin to Mijas which we've done before but this time we'll turn left which should be the 20km route - last time we turned right and ended up walking 35kms!

Lots of bananas will be packed just in case!

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally.
It was sunny when I went for the paper but it is now cloudy and trying to rain.
No floods here just lots of surface water.
The drive slopes down to the road which slopes down to the main road so the water would have to be over four feet deep before it reach our house.
Must be bad if you have no electricity as many houses have lost power when a sub station flooded.
Have a good d ay everybody if you can

Morning :)

Dry here and supposed to stay that way, but so was yesterday
Didn't get out, was eating lunch when it got really dark and it started raining :(
Bb had just got home, we raced out and grabbed the washing and that was that
I did do quite a lot though, and made a yummy cake too - cranberry & orange :D

Enjoy your yomp Ally, hope you find the right route :)

The floods are horrendous, poor people, and shops and businesses too...thankfully most areas affected are not forecast rain for today so the rivers will subside. Weeks if not months of horrible mess :(

We're going out I think, nothing exciting but to the next town for a change, Morrisons have beef on offer, we've been impressed with their beef in the past so hoping it looks good.
If it's vaguely nice enough might go and have a look at the sea :)
Hope you all enjoy your Sunday

Morning everyone

A grey day - no sun, just grey cloud as far as you can see  but warm ish

After rather a late night - or should that be early morning  8-)  - we'll be taking today a little easier.

Rose and I will walk down aloing the beach and I'm doing chicken, white beans and cabbage for dinner. Young Ted will like that :x :x :x :x

Have a good day everyone

Morning all :)

Enjoy your yomp Ally, looking forward to some sunny photos later :D

Feeling really sorry for those affected by the flooding cruiser, it's a dreadful thing :(

Di, Morrison's meat is good quality we find, and what's even better is that they usually mark a lot down on Sunday mornings, which is when we tend to go 8-) ;) That's where we'll be off to in about an hour, so that we can do the weekly shop and then Mick and H can have one of their huuuge cooked breakfasts as their brunch ;) I'll probably have a salad sarnie instead LOL Then Mick will drive H home, and pick up B, and I'll get on with my card writing and the ironing :)
Then when he gets back we have a few things saved to watch on the player :D

Have a good day everyone :)

ETA Morning Ton, enjoy your walk :) xx

Morning all :)

Dry but quite windy here. Feel really sorry for all the people in Cumbria who've been flooded.

Spent yesterday afternoon doing the tree and decorating the house. There really isn't a lot of space here so it was quite a juggle to fit the tree in and still have somewhere to sit down to eat, but it does look lovely so definitely worth the hassle :D

No plans for today, really should sit down and do all the cards later.

Hope you all have a good day :)

LOL Di

I got a huge thick gammon slice, enough for both Mick and Becks (I can't eat pork) for 69p!!!! Beautiful, but on its sell-by, so it's gone straight in the freezer! :D

Oh no Saundra, you just take care and stay warm and tucked up!! (((((x)))))

Oh no Saundra, you poor thing ((((xx))))

Kaz sadly Morrisons was rubbish, reminded me of all the reasons we stopped bothering to go :(
None of the beef on offer; when I asked at the butchers' counter he said he'd had a few people asking but knew nothing about it
Bb and I separately heard it on the local radio...I did get one bargain, a big pack of lamb mince.
Oh and it started raining and is still at it...
Lidl was good :?

Got very confused by amazon, they still hadn't been when I got back but a van pulled up 10 minutes ago and delivered a box.
Bb said that's funny, it says flowers on the box - I guess they're using what boxes they have.
But no, this box did indeed contain flowers - a bright, beautiful bouquet for me from a lovely, lovely friend :) :Hi:
So my day is now completely fab :)
