I remember something about Coffee and McDonalds...

Now we have someone suing Apple because they can't work out how to use iTunes to back up the phone....

Every time I lose data I assume it's because I'm too lazy to back up. Which is why I have up to 25 copies of some things... Others I lose.

Oh and the iPhone has not been going for 15 years... So.... Where did the contacts come from.

If I were the judge I'd tell him to take this as a lesson in life and learn how to back up his "irreplaceable and invaluable" data. I'm sure he would have sued a thief if the phone was stolen...

Just to add. Most batteries have 1,000 charges from birth to death. The iPhone does not have a replaceable battery. If he damaged the thunderbolt connection and the phone battery died????

Really - suing Apple because you can't back up your phone!!!!

Do you think I stand a chance in suing them because I stupidly pressed delete on a load of my photos?

Ah but you didn't let an Apple store person delete it for you....

Expect that when you come to your Apple store and ask for help, to find you have to sign 5 pages of liability waver before anyone will lay so much as their fingerprint on it....

Of course you could do with with two lines and a tick selection

I have backed up my iPhone and so don't care if you delete it all |¯|

I have not backed up my iPhone and if you delete all my vital personal information I will wear a dunces hat and promise to learn how to back it up in the future, instead of suing you for my own inability to protect my data. |¯|

Some people are not safe to be let out of the house without a minder.

Can you imagine him buying a car and five years down the line the engine seizes. He never checked the oil or had it serviced because he did not know he had to because he did not read the manual. The Judge and the car maker would be in stitches if he tried to sue.

Not funny. One of my daughters, who we bought a car with 2 years free servicing, didn't bother to get it serviced. After 3 years the engine seized.....

She had to fix the situation herself. She refuses even to learn how to pull out the dipstick. Or, for that matter, how to fill up the washer bottle...

The judge, in this case, probably knew as much about using a smartphone as my daughter does about maintaining the car she drives...
