I can't see them as thumbs up ones on tipatapa - they are just normal yellow smilie faces.

The problem with the smilies is, as mentioned to Frank, that they are imported in as a package, not individually, so I can't alter the code to replace them. Mick tried last year, as I remember, to alter something and it can't be done!

The files are in images/smilies/******.gif

The package they are in should be a .zip which you can open to see the individual gif files. Cut and paste the duff ones to some random folder and paste in the good ones from wherever you saved them. Zip the pack up again and reinsert it into phpBB.
