Glorious sunshine this morning, so I'm sat here in jumper, thick cardi and slippers.

I've got Weka's man-flu, which has manifested itself as a cold over here (thanks Bill )

Off down to the village for me later, to collect the bankers draft for tomorrow and see a friend in a shop about boxes. Now the clinic has shut for a couple of weeks, we're out of boxes

Grumpy is to investigate putting the back seats down in the car so we can pile a load of plants in and drop them off tomorrow too - at a friends house, after we've signed the promissary contract

Our lovely bank manager said that he'll miss us, wished us well and gave me the Portuguese stroke of the arm as he walked me to the door

I got up very late woke early and my clock said 9o,clock
5.ore mins I thought
woke again clock had stopped it was 10'30
Since then went to the post office paid some bills and forgot my pension card
So will go again next week with it
So I'm sat here with a cuppa putting a new battery in the clock
It's a beautiful day as well
