Morning all.

We have snow. Not loads of it but enough to stop me from getting my car out to take S to work! Fortunately Micks van is lower down in the hill so he can take her - its her first day so she can't really miss it.

No real plans for me today other than pottering about at home.

Morning Ally, Debih and everyone

Another lovely morning here :D 8-)

Snow??

We're off to Aldi's later   then back to yet more packing   Also Tom, our money man, is coming round to sort a few things out and we're waiting for the phone call from that charity woman. She was supposed to come round yesterday and collect a load of stuff, but sent a message via fb, to say that she'll contact us today. I sent one back saying that if she doesn't collect the stuff next week, it's being thrown out - she'll ring ;)

Curry for dinner tonight 8-)

have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

No reason, I woke up really early this morning so I'm now all nicely showered while E's still snoring

Yesterday turned out to be nice and sunny, but although it's dry right now there's a very strong wind. The temperature's dropped too so I'm guessing it's quite cold out there. Snow debih  heard on the news it was due in some areas. The last time that happened in November lots of airports were closed, remember it well as we were in Mexico and some people had flights postponed and got to stay in our lovely all inclusive hotel for an extra 3 days. Sadly not us as we'd booked quite late and had to fly to/from Manchester which was one of the few still operating, sods law and all that!

No plans for today, just the usual washing and house stuff.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Oooh it's cold! :D No snow here but a very vicious icy wind.
Yesterday evening, having been saying how cold it had got and thank goodness the rain had gone, suddenly the heavens opened, hammering against the windows!
Today it's looking far too bright for wet stuff, I far prefer this :)

Not sure what I'm doing, have some washing in (cold weather stuff!) which should whirl around nicely.
Bb's working, off in a minute, I shall see what I fancy once I've had a sit here with this coffee :)
Hope the snow goes Debih, and hope you all have a good day

Afternoon all, no snow here but it is cold - it was lovely and sunny earlier but then clouded over. We set off to walk around the block but it was raw with a bite in the wind so we came back pretty quickly. It would be ok if I was able for a good brisk walk but of course I'm not. Nothing much planned - today is Michael's birthday party but we are not going, he said no grown ups were invited which is fine by us  I will going there later to put Kellie to bed in case she acts up for the babysitter who has not put her to bed before, so SCD will be delayed for about half an hour, really looking forward to the show from Blackpool. Otherwise, going to carry on reading my book which is so interesting and Mr Osc might just find some sport to watch ;) Have a good day everyone :)

Hi all - we have had a sprinkling of the white stuff - I walked to work this morning in my sturdy walking shoes (very smart - not - with a skirt!) to try and not slip over, the paths are sheer glass! Not now, they have thawed a little, but the air is crisp and cold and the sun is out - it's a gorgeous day :D Busy morning at work - we might nip out to get some groceries in soon, as of course with my car being out of action, I can't go myself.

Tom is this morning at a speed awareness course - he was doing 34mph in a 30 limit the day we went to Scarborough....he's been out of the house since just before 8 and still isn't back!

I was really annoyed this morning....Amy and her dad were at the dog track last night and she'd left her car here. She text me lateish on to ask if it was ok if she stayed overnight as it would be late when they got back, I replied yes and I'd get Lewis's bedroom ready (I should just point out that I'd changed Jen's bed in readiness for her return so she had lovely clean bedlinen on, Amy was newly spray tanned) I've got up this morning, and here she's slept in Jen's bed!!!!    She'd got up and left before I realised....I am so furious, I am sad to say I had a few tears.....silly I know but I am sick to death of that family riding roughshod over my house and my things. She'd also opened a packet of biscuits and left them open in the cupboard. I'm not in a good place atm, sorry.
