All good news

The sons of the people buying our house had a legal hiccup. One lives in the Canary Island, the other in England. Because it was getting complicated, they're both flying into Portugal on Monday 7 December to sign the promissary contract on our house

And they want to sign the final deed on 21 December

So we're going up next week, to sign the promissary on our new home

And I've organised removal men too We may have a day or so sleeping on the floor, but what the heck

The father - the one who is going to live here - has already signed the contract
So it's all systems go.

Saundra, we bought this house on 22 December, 12 years ago. How weird that we're probably going to sign for the new one on the same day

Ria, the main signature is the promissary contract. The deposit is paid and basically, it's yours.

The people of the house we're moving into, will give us a key - how kind is that? - on that day, so we can move stuff in from then, until the final deed is done.

On the final day, we just hand over the rest of the money, by bankers draft.

And I won't be around, for a couple of weeks, because it's Christmas and because we'll be sending the computer stuff up the week before.
