Good morning Ally.
Not a good night. the rain has been lashing down and strong winds have kept us awake.
.
But there is now blue sky and the wind has dropped.
Waiting to have a new chest freezer delivered, hopefully this morning. Have had our existing one for about twenty years and the temperature keeps fluctuating.
Have good day everybody

Morning Ally, cruiser and everyone

Looking rather pleasant here too 8-) 8-)

Busy day today, have to go down to the village and get a birthday card, more packing  and chucking out and we have a lady from a local dog rescue centre coming round to look over stuff we're doing to donate.

And I need to sort some books out for a friend.

Something from the freezer for dinner tonight. Got an awful lot of soup to get through, so will be take, I expect, with added stuff, like beans.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all :)

Have a good day Ally :)

Ton, the dog rescue place will be very grateful I'm sure :) xxx

Morning cruiser - I love having a chest freezer, so useful! :)

It looks a bit changeable here, rain clouds about but some sun breaking through - so I'll take my umbrella when I go out to my WW meeting  I'm starting Zumba today, straight afterwards, so wish me luck

Have a good day everyone xxxx

Morning all, would much rather be at home today... didn't have the best nights sleep; I kept waking up coughing (aka cat allergy  )

Kaz, it's very changeable here as well; at one point this morning the heavens but opened, now it's cloudy with the sun trying to break through. Enjoy the Zumba today; looking forward to hearing how you get on x
Ally, enjoy your day. Must say IACGMOOH is one programme (actually there are a few) I really have never figured out the point of; I'd quite happily throw a brick at the TV  but enjoy watching it   . Masterchef on the other hand - fab fun :D
Hope you get your delivery today Cruiser, I couldn't be without my freezer
Ton, the rescue will be grateful; it's really tough for them all over the world so anything helps. And enjoy the soup tonight; hope it's the right weather for it?

have a lovely day all xxx

Normally I detest reality TV shows Ria - but for some reason I've always found IACGMOOH hilarious.

The boys got me into it the year Phil Tufnell was on as they wanted to phone in and vote for him   ..I've enjoyed it since.

Morning all :D

Dry here this morning, hope it brightens as the day goes on.

Did lots of online Christmas shopping yesterday and ordered most of the pressies for the children. Also bought a couple of things for mother. Must sit down today and write it all down so there's no last minute rush. My biggest downfall is leaving the wrapping until the last week, not clever as I'm not nearly as quick as I used to be. Always intend to start as things arrive, the plan is to get it right this year, we'll see

We'll be glued to IACGMOOH too this evening, never fails to amuse.

No plans for today, will see how the weather pans out.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Started off wet and horrid yet again but it's actually brighter now :)

I'm a celeb is one that we sometimes watch all through, other years dip in and out but usually follow, I don't know why either :D
Kaz good luck with the zumba, hope you enjoy it...just be careful ;)
Saundra enjoy whatever you have in the slow cooker, it's a fast day for us so nothing so nice here :)

Ton we give all old towels, sheets, duvet covers etc to the local cat rescue -they're closer to us than the nearest dog rescue - pillows too when we change them, it's all used for bedding :)
Bb's out working but only this morning, then he's doing a few h-wordy jobs that I can't manage :)

Ally I give up, what's a pitufo? - according to google it's a smurf

Morning all
Had a horror of a sleep. First I woke at 3am convienced I'd just heard the smoke alarm cheep, nope was just a dream. Then Oliver came in just as I'd almost got to sleep saying he'd had a nightmare, so resettled him, then I reall had just got back to sleep at 4, when some holigans came through the park banging and yelling, then nicked the sign to our park! Right outside my bedroom window, then they stood in our drive taking selfies with it!
Found the sign this morning about 10 doors up the road, propped up against a neighbours fence.

So I finally got back to sleep at about 6am, only to have the alarm wake me at 6:30.

Hoping for a bette sleep right now.

Night all

Zzzzz
Everything happens for a reason
