Good evening

I've spent most of the day shattered, no idea why, probably just been doing too much.

I started to wipe down all the walls and ceiling of our bedroom since all the sanding has been finished. Only got halfway through before I realised that it's going to rain all week, so out into the garden I went. I've cleared 3 more beds for planting, and Hubby has dug 2 for me, one is now planted with sweetcorn. 40 plants should do it, fingers crossed at least one grows. Lol

:o :o   I grew sweetcorn, once, back in <England and out of the 10 seeds, only 2 came up, so good luck Weka xx

Not going to do a lot today, two nights out on the razz is more than enough for us, now

But we do have the lady from the dog rescue place in Moncarapacho coming over later, to pick up a load of books and other bits and bobs, which they can either sell or give away, to help create some dosh for the poor dogs which are just abandoned.

And talking of abandoned animals, we seem to have inherited 2 kittens, who are living under the aloe vera in the front garden

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning everyone :)

Have a lovely wander out Ally :)

Weka, hope your plants grow :)

Ton, what will you do about the kittens? :? :( Poor things, is there a mummy cat somewhere? xxx

Well, we have a christening to go to, at noon, so need to get moving here - I still haven't decided which out of two outfits I'm going to wear    There's a 'do' afterwards, so not sure what time we'll be back :) It's blowing a gale here, but luckily we can park quite close to the church for free on a Sunday (it's a church near the city centre) 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, dull here but at least it is not raining. No plans for the day, must do some ironing though, I'm trying to keep up with it in small batches so it doesn't build up. Otherwise I have a good book to read and knitting I can do too. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment, nice change from the driving rain we had all day yesterday.

Will be glued to the box this evening. Things are hotting up on Strictly, some very good couples left with just a couple of also rans so the chances are someone good could go out tonight. Keeping fingers tightly crossed it isn't my favourite Jay.

No plans for today, intend to be extreeeemely lazy. Pulled a rotisserie chicken out of the freezer last night and we'll have that with some veggies later.

Hope you all have a good day :D

I doubt it will be Jay that leaves tonight Jen....despite his stumble he is still head and shoulders above some of the 'also-rans' :D

It is Jen's 27th birthday today (how did that happen???) After T gets back from the farm we will head out somewhere for a late lunch, not sure if anyone else will be coming (IE D and J with kids and/or Amy) but I know they have plans to go to the Lumiere in the city centre today....the city has been jam packed since Thursday so I have avoided going in, I am not comfortable in such crowds, T isn't keen on crowds either.

Weather is a tad milder since yesterday so after a clear up this morning, I have been doing the crossword with a coffee in the conservatory :D 8-)

Enjoy the christening Kaz x

Have a great day all, and stay safe in the winds and rain (if you have them)

Afternoon :)
A dreary old day here, drizzly rain on and off, very strong winds, dark and dismal.
Gal the Lumiere looks amazing :)
We've been shopping so at least got out of the house for a while. Bb does take Minnie out each morning but he's not even awake then so it doesn't count :D
No nice proper walks with her for ages though; since she can't go far there's no point when it's been so wet and horrid.
I made shortbread yesterday, looking forward to another piece of that soon, and roast beef for later. It's the second half of a bit from the other week, and we have a huge new veg mountain to start on :)
Hope you're all enjoying the day
x
Ps Happy Birthday to Jen x

 Gal I can't believe that your Jen is 27, where does the time go??? Happy birthday Jen! xxxx

Di I saw the pic of your shortbread, it looked delish! We got a big box of it yesterday, that D bought us back from Scotland, but I've put it away for Christmas 8-) ;)

We've had a lovely time at Jack's christening - such a nice church, I hadn't been in there before - and then a nice little party gathering in the church hall afterwards :) I even bought B home a doggy bag, at the insistence of Tasha's mum! :D   He was go good, not a peep out of him during the ceremony or at the party after 8-) :D :)

I feel a bit tiddly, on two large glasses of Pinot #lightweight  :?
