I'm back.

Our little 3-day holiday was a great success.

The main feature was the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. This proved to be absolutely
wonderful. I'd never seen anything like it. As well as the musical show, complete with
dancing girls on the widest stage imaginable, there was the largest display of Christmas
decorations and coloured lights you ever see.
Take a look at this:- http://www.thursford.com/special-events.aspx

The visit to Sandringham was a rather disappointing, as everything was closed except the Gift
Shop, but we did get a chance to see and explore some other interesting East Anglian places.

So pleased you had a good time Aggers. And the Christmas thing looks fab.

but why, if Sandringham was on your itinerary, was it closed? If this was an organised thing, I'd be a little cross.

Welcome back though xx

Welcome back - glad you had a good time. Agree that it's a bit annoying that Sandringham was closed esp if it was an organised tour. But hey ho..... it sounds as though the rest of the tour made up for that?

As for that Chrismas display at Thursford - Oh wow; I would be in heaven! Just as well it's a tad far for me to get there.
