Afternoon all, absolutely peeing it down here ("Granny what does peeing rain mean" "Oh it's short for pouring" ) We have both children today as Michael is on midterm break. We went to the driving range and the two men whacked their way very quickly through 120 balls. Then we stopped off at the nearest Starbucks on the way home - would you believe that they didn't have a microwave for heating Kellie's food Luckily I know the girls in a clothes shop three doors up and they had one and did it for me. Back home for the rest of the day now and the rain hasn't stopped. Kellie is asleep and Michael and Grandad are snuggled up on the couch playing draughts on the ipad. The lovely relationship they have is a constant joy to me.
You will enjoy your rest later, Jen! Di, hope you have nice weather for your day in London. Have a good day everyone

Carla rang at just before 2.30, to say the clients were running late.
Clients? What clients
She forgot to tell us we had a viewing this afternoon
So we three went for a coffee and we put her right on our plans - again
Another Portuguese couple, love the house, will decide during the week.
She (Carla) now knows that we are sticking to our guns - even though the people who really like our house and can only offer 165,000 are still hoping we'll drop. So we said, sorry, not a hope.
So my plans of no booze today went out of the window (again ) as Grumpy and I spent the next 2 hours, sitting outside, talking
To be fair - and it's no excuse - she does have a lot on her plate at the moment.
Just split from her husband, had to leave the marital home, daughter rather ill, with open ulcers on her leg, which won't heal - so think she forgets stuff because of so much on her plate.
Weather in London was gorgeous, had a lovely long lunch with bunch of friends then even better dinner and drinks with loveliest Ria Excuse me if I'm good for nothing for a few days
Thanks Kaz, three of us shared a cab back to the London Eye as they were meeting one of them's girls so I had half an hour or so to spare. It was such a lovely evening and the South Bank was absolutely buzzing, I really enjoyed just wandering along
