Those d*mn clocks .....

Postby TheOstrich » 27 Oct 2015, 09:49

Following a "robust discussion" with Mrs O this morning, it now seems that on Saturday night, the wretched Ostrich managed to put the bed-side clock back an hour .... twice!!

Well I insisted they were put back an hour on Friday night , for some reason I was convinced it was Saturday, which led to confusion on Saturday morning when I was sound asleep and my nurse turned up. I spent the whole weekend out of sync and only came back to Earth on Monday morning! So you are not the only barmy one on here Ossie by a long chalk! :D    At least we admit it

I always put ours back on the evening before.

That way we get an extra hour awake, instead of asleep.

RAF Stafford.

Going to bed... 'Clocks, must do clocks!'.... Done.

Next morning I am in the Mess for breakfast... nobody about, no food. Finally catch a cook.

"It's 9 O'clock, did you forget to change?"

"No mate, its 7 O'clock.... We might not be technical like you guys, but we can change a clock........."
