Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 23 Oct 2015, 05:25

Good morning. :D

Another gorgeous day forecast. :D 8-) 8-)

Today is Jacob & Conor's 23rd birthday! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I'm picking mum and dad up at 10am and bringing them over here for the day. Conor can then open his cards and presents.

We've arranged to ring Jacob at a certain time so's we can all sing happy birthday to him.
Of course it will be a lovely happy day but tinged with a little sadness as it's the first birthday we've ever spent apart from him. He's having a blast on his travels though so that's the main thing. :D

I've got homework club 4.30 - 6.30 so Don will take my folks home and then come to meet me for the usual Friday beers and tapas. :D :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Oh and safe travels home for M Kaz. xx

It looks dull here, but it's early yet so who knows? ;) I have some ironing to catch up on, B is working from 2 'til 8, and Mick should be home around 4ish :D :D I've missed him, and the dogs have been a bit mopey too :D

Jen, I hope that M will be home from hospital today, or very soon ((((x))))

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Dull and rather grey here, but warm ;)

Happy Birthday to your "little" boys Ally :D Bound to feel a bit odd, with one of them not being with you, but as long as he's having a good time.....

Pootling this morning, plus ironing  then down to the village for a few bits and bobs this afternoon. If it stays warm, we may have a people watch at the coffee :D

Have a great day everyone, hope the poorlies are feeling better and the travellers have a safe journey xx

Morning all....baby monitors are the devil's work  When you hear nothing, you wonder if they are ok, when you hear them moving around you wonder if they are ok   If it's just Michael we don't bother, but still use it for Kellie. They both slept fine, but I didn't  Up early of course, and great excitement getting Michael ready in his Halloween costume for the last day before mid term break. He has a vampire costume and only submitted to teeth and drops of blood being put on his face ("that's not make up, is it Granny? I only want face paint" Granny lies and says of course it is not makeup   )

Nice day here, Mr Osc is going to play golf later and Kellie and I will collect Michael from school, then Miss Osc will pick them up around 3.30. Won't be able for much else after that! Have a good day everyone :)

Good morning everyone. A nice day here but we have no particular plans. If the forecast rain stays away I'll pop into town and hire a wheelchair so that we can get out and about. I have painters coming in soon to decorate the two top bedrooms where I've had an en suite installed which has made a mess of walls and doors so I need to get paint as well. Apart from that it will be going with the flow. The washing is all done but the ironing is mountainous. I won't be needing most of it for a while so I might just shove it away and forget about it.

Happy birthday to Ally's boys. She was saying on Monday that it's the first when they haven't been together so quite emotional for everyone. I hope the phone call makes up for it a bit.

Bad granny Osc! Putting make up on your little macho man. :D

Morning all :D

Just up, we've been very lazy and had a nice lie in 8-)

M got back home yesterday afternoon Kaz. Z managed to bum shuffle her way downstairs for a couple of hours last night, but she says the boot is so heavy it really pulls on her thigh so she won't be doing that too often. Hopefully they'll both have a nice quiet weekend without any problems.

Well our bathroom is finally finished :D Yes it's reeeeeally annoying having to pay extra to get things fixed but we're just so relieved to see the back of the whole experience. Steve who was here yesterday did a great job, definitely someone to call on again if necessary. I didn't post any piccies before because we were so disappointed with the finish, but I'll do some before/after photo's later.

We've got another builder popping in later this afternoon, being sure we get quite a few quotes before we make any decisions about the extension. Shopping first though as we didn't get it done yesterday, M&S and Tesco after brekkie.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Oh fantastic news, both on M and the bathroom Jen :D :D xxx

Osc, bad Granny :P :D ;)  Bless him :D

Paddy, just shove it out of sight if you don't need it yet ;) :D

Morning Ton, my ironing is still awaiting attention - I'll probably try and find something decent to watch on telly later, and do it in front of that

Afternoon :)
Dark and dreary here but dry.
I've been to an art class thing this morning, not a formal one, you join in if you want to. We were attempting a painting of umbrellas on a beach from a photograph, using watercolour pencils. I enjoyed it :)

Happy birthday to your boys Ally, good news all round Jen :)
Pp I just packed the summery stuff into boxes under the spare bed without ironing :)
Be nice to have M back Kaz xx
