Morning all, it was very dull earlier on after a lot of rain last night, but the sun is starting to peep through, so I will put out the washing and hope for the best. One of the benefits of travelling with only hand baggage is being able to do the unpacking when you get home, catching up with the washing takes a little longer though

Still have the cold, but it is not bothering me too much thank goodness. Quick trip to Lidl today, also to the library, and maybe a bit more ironing. Have a good day everyone :)

Ria did you see my pics on FB from yesterday? We went to a place called Warkworth, about 5 miles from Alnmouth, and the tea rooms we visited was decorated for halloween - very scary!

Well it's beeeautiful here after a wet night :D . We've been for another lovely walk, partly along country lanes and partly on the beach. I took some pics of the sky....so huuuuge!! (will put them on FB shortly) Walked with vest top on, walking trousers and my waterproof jacket wrapped around my waist :D 8-) Having a breather in the cottage atm, been reading my book sat out on the decking :D

We are eating out tonight, a whole 5 minute walk up the main road from our cottage :D

Loving our time here! :D
