Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 21 Oct 2015, 06:38

Good morning. :D

And a beautiful one it is too. 8-) :D

One last swim for me then I think the cossie will go away until next May.

I'm going to Torremolinos later as a shop there (Dealz) sells stuff as cheap as chips and as I've been designated to decorate the Academy for Halloween Boss Lady gave me money yesterday to go on a spree. :D :D :D

I'll then walk down to Playamar along the coast and visit mum and dad for a couple of hours then Don is coming to pick me up. :D :D

Going for a couple of beers tonight and a bite to eat. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

Up at silly o'clock as we're off to Sevenoaks for the day. M's going to get the boys to school, but he has an important meeting he can't really miss and Z's struggling with the heavy boot and having to keep off that foot. I don't really think she realised how helpless she would feel. We're just going to be there to give her a bit of confidence and to collect the boys later this afternoon. He's working from home for the rest of this week and had already booked next week as a holiday to spend time with the boys over half term.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Ally, morning Jen

Oooh, Ally - have fun doing the halloween shopping; I'd be like a kid in a candy store :D I've got a few halloweeny things that I should get out this weekend :D Then only a few weeks before the 1st advent sunday and the you know what stuff starts coming out :Hi: :Hi:

Jen, drive safely and have a fab day. I'm certain Z and M are very relieved to have you close enough to help out in situations like this.

A rather wet morning here, but that's OK - the garden is in desperate need of it so I'm not complaining. I'm at work all day anyway so makes no difference

Have a lovely day all x

Morning you two, morning everyone :)

Ally have a nice time with your mum and dad and the shopping - Aw, if you are putting away your cossie then winter must be on its way! :( ;)

Jen, I hope Z gets used to her boot soon, it must feel very awkward and uncomfortable. It's nice for her that you can help out, and I hope that any news on M will be good :( ((((x))))

Well it is pouring down here!! B walked the dogs before she left for work, for which I was very grateful. If I take them I have to take them one at a time, as F pulls and I have trouble holding onto them both at the same time  B manages them easily! It's very quiet here without Mick, he rang last night and the hotel is nice and the other people on the course are ok, so he's happy enough ;) Not sure what I'm doing today, but it will be indoors whatever it is as it's far too wet to venture out when you don't have to! A tomato soup making day I think, using the slow cooker, with the big bag of toms and peppers that D gave me on Saturday 8-) I could do with a few days living on soup, before I go back to WW next Monday

Have a good day everyone, love and hugs :) (((((x)))))

Good morning everyone. It's dull and damp but quite warm here. I have so much post holiday things to do that I feel like saying "sod it" and doing nothing at all, but needs must. The cupboard is bare and shopping will have to be done. The cases are behind closed doors upstairs and can stay there until I feel like sorting everything out. George didn't sleep well at all and is back in bed. I think the two huge Spanish vodka/cokes every night after dinner contributed to his sleep while we were away. :D I'm sure his normal sleeping pattern will come back after a few days.

Have a good day everyone. Yours sounds just the ticket Ally!

Morning Liz :D I suppose a double vodka every night in the bedtime cocoa would probably not be the best of ideas long-term? Shame though, if it helped G to sleep :) I'm sure he will soon settle, it always feels a bit different when you get home from holiday, switching beds :) I was tempted to do similar with our cases when we got back from Corfu on Saturday, but I knew if I didn't start straight away it would just keep on getting ignored, and as H's room is really the only 'spare' space as such, and he is coming to stay for half term I thought better of it

I'm home. 12 hour round trip today. Just tucking into a well deserved wine. Still processing today, and don't really feel like talking. Funny stories from today I'll share tomorrow
